The start of the movie was slow but kept me engaged. Then slowly but surely the setting and story reminded me very strongly of the the movie -Forces of nature- (1999) with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck. Just the little twist at the end safes it, not to be labled a ripoff in my opinion. In spite of that it's a good movie and I liked the actors and their talks. Just not very original.

I enjoyed this film. I have always wanted to go to Greece. Such beautiful scenery. The last part of this film took me by complete surprise! It was very nicely done. Like others I thought a sequel would be nice but then again that my ruin the fantasy. I would recommend this film if you are a hopeless romantic.

But don't let them turn you off the movie. The movie is not brilliant but it is a pretty touching story with a few twists . 7.2.

First of all, I wan to start of by saying that "Committed" is so far the best film I've seen in 2015, and mind you I've watched hundreds of films this year. It has to be the perfect film for the romantics and contains the fabulous surprise element in a sense that one wouldn't at first think that this feature film could actually turn out to be the bomb, a one that would blow away everyone's mind. The cast, even though they are not such familiar faces, have put in their best and it could really be felt through the screen. I hope they get a big recognition or something after this film because it was THAT good! I am particularly elated about this film because I wasn't at all prepared for such a fantastic one, initially. Handsome actor, beautiful actress, awesome sceneries, upbeat soundtracks and, most importantly, superbly fantastic storyline. Their chemistry is so smoking that I would definitely root for this couple to be together in another movie, fingers-crossed a sequel of this one, may be?<3 hahaha I'm thinking that he actually went after her and proposed her and they got married, had a baby and then another baby, like a conventional life. ;) Watched it yesterday night and still the heat of it ain't getting off. Great job! (y) <3

Don't tell you the story. They reflect the politics. This is a movie about adultery. But it's called a comedy romance and low key attacks prudes. There was a similar movie released with a title that had word choice that suggested adultery. The difference? The second movie had only one black man in it. He was the lead. If you call the first movie what it is, you'll be disciplined for not reading beyond the headline. If you call the second movie what it is, you'll be congratulated. That's the purpose of the low key hollywood training. Independent thinking would call it out but such a review might not be supported.

When you have to make a movie with just a couple of characters, a mobile phone, a car and landscapes, you have to put the effort in the dialog. I found the dialog and reactions of both leading actors quite natural and credible. We are knowing the characters little by little, changing our view about them as the movie goes on. Dialog is also witty as the two characters are quite intelligent and has a lot to say. I could not help smiling and even laughing in several moments... I have also found myself thinking during and after the film. I do not know about accents, as my mother language is not English. So I do not know if the English they speak it is good or bad or about the quality or accuracy of the accent (I understand who complains about this as if the movie was in Spanish, trying to depict wrongly people from this or that area, I think I could find it annoying)... I do not know if it is 100% original or there are other movies like this... all I can say it is that I found this "small" movie really entertaining, it surpassed my expectations and I can only strongly recommend it. Committed is a great movie, catering for all opinions on life and love. It has quality laughs, genuine heart felt moments and an ending which is a real thought provoker. A perfect way to spend 90 minutes! Now that I have said all that I want to say, I have to waffle on for 7 more lines, without giving away any spoilers of the movie. Maybe it would be easier for me to check the "spoiler alert" box and give a quick plot summary. Surely, if I want to leave a review that just says "brilliant", as the movie was, I should be able to do so. Why is it that important that I waste people's time with information that is not relevant to the topic. If you have read this far, I apologise and solely blame the IMDb review protocol. But thank you for your patience!

Was curious to watch the finished film, came away impressed. The script carried the story well, while the cinematography made me fall in love with Cyprus all over again. Made me realise how much undiscovered Cyprus there is out there. Considering the small cast, my attention was kept from scene to scene. I left the cinema thinking how movies with such charm and simple beauty are rare to find amongst todays franchises. Each actor brought their own spark to the screen. Loved the soundtrack which i wouldn't mind buying, the theme tune is still in my head and i still sing it randomly. Overall, a must see! Looking forward to more films by this young director.

When I settled in to watch this small movie from Cyprus, I wasn't expecting to see something that would impress and move me so much. The images were beautiful with world-class photography and while I was convinced this would be a cliché romantic comedy, the ending completely surprised me. The storyline was so original, in fact I don't think I've ever seen something similar and the locations were fresh and new as we haven't really seen the island of Cyprus on this scale before. I also loved the leading actors - Orestes Sophocleous who I know from his amazing theater background and the mesmerizing Melia Kreiling. I found I could really relate to what they were going through...this movie is great for anyone who has ever been in love or ever questioned it.
