May contain spoilers. You have to wonder how movies like this are made. I have yet to see the first two movies, I first heard of #3, watched it and now assume there are two previous movies. I haven't heard of the Turbulence series before this one came along, but I can't imagine the first two made much money at all. The hero, Slade Craven is little more than a Marilyn Manson wannabe with one big difference. Slade Craven lacks musical talent, William Hung is more talented than this loser. Plus he says "Let's do the hussle" more than anyone should in their entire life time. If he said "Let's go out there and win one for the Gipper", I'd have more respect for him. Heck they could have cut it down to "Let's do it" and he'd seem more Satanic or whatever. The secondary hero is a I337 h4x0r. Who wears sunglasses indoors, a stupid head rag and dresses like he's stuck in the mid-80's. Yeah, an obvious non-hacker type. If they wanted a real hacker, they would have gotten the guy who was Newman on Seinfeld and would have shown up while he was stuffing his face with Nachos while watching a Dr. Who marathon. He teams up with some girl who's a h4x0r with the government, all though they never quite get what part of the government she works for. She's the stuck up girl with no emotion at all and would look hot if she let down her hair and lost the glasses. So anyway Slade decides to have a concert on an airplane. It will be broadcast on the net so that the other 27 fans of his can watch it too. Just so happens that the hacker girl shows up to arrest hacker guy just as the concert starts to go all wrong. Satanic terrorist (Osama is a pansy compared to these guys) hijack the plane in order to crash it after getting 15 million internet viewers in to a Church in Kansas in order to release Satan. Slade is put away for a while and comes back later in the movie when we find out that Slade ain't behind the whole hijack thing. Eventually Slade and the hacker guy hook up on the phone and the hacker talks him through some rough situations. However, the movie goes way over the top of acceptable cheese level when it comes time to land the plane and the hacker uses Microsoft Flight Simulator to help Slade to land the plane. Yeah, ya know that after hours of playing that game as a teenager, I don't feel fully flight certified yet. I get the feeling the writer stole that bit from MST3K: The Movie. If you've read this far, I'm sure you know how the movie ends. With cheese and over acting all around. Good job Canada, yet another example in why you shouldn't make movies. However, feel good that this movie is better than 2 Fast, 2 Furious and Dinocroc, but not by much.

I had no idea what to expect when this movie came on Cinemax. At first, it seemed it might be interesting. But it soon disappointed me. I tried to get interested, but had nothing which to grab hold. So, I sit there waiting for this movie to get interesting. Nothing happened. What a complete waste of time. Hardly any action. Hardly any writing. Hardly a plot. Dumb storyline, dumb everything. Bad acting all the way around. Even Rutger Hauer, whom I usually like, seems to be in another movie. Just don't bother wasting your time. Anybody's time is worth a LOT more than this stupid movie. Now, I'm merely babling on because this movie review database requires a minimum amount of words. So, since I have nothing else to say about this movie, this is all you get.

This film has terrible acting. It has a terrible plot. It has terrible music (and I like metal). It wastes the talent it has. But it's sheer brilliance. I simply cannot describe how superb this film is. It goes so far beyond awful that it becomes a work of unbelievable quality. Right down to the moment when Slade Craven, the action goth, renounces Satan and prays to God to help him land the plane. It's got it all - the moralistic hacker who fights the corporations for the little guy, the cute FBI girl who is chasing him but falls for him after he helps save the day, the girl wanting to make it big in TV news and finally getting her break now, the cliched heavy metal fans, the laughable attempts at kung fu, Rutger giving it the most OTT suicide attempt ever... Watch it for the laughs, and you'll discover a gem.

The first movie in the Turbulence Trilogy is a gem. Ray Liota delivers a powerful and tear-jerking performance as a serial murderer or whatever he was. I didn't expect the same level of artistry from the ensemble cast in T3, but I wes refreshingly surprised by their ability to step up to the plate and deliver a memorable performance for the third movie in this series. The protaganist is uncovered about half way through the movie, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats. Slade Craven (the protaganist)is a poetic mix between Trent Reznor, Ziggy Stardust, Iggy Pop, Julie Andrews and and that guy who works at the gas station near my apartment with the huge hands (he can grasp a cantelope with just one hand). His epic battle against his evil twin in the movie stirs many a battlefield memory in my bottom. And for the babes..whoa...20 out of 10. Add to all that the demonic co-pilot, and the terrorized fans on the plane, and you have the award-winning Good Housekeeping recipe for a successful thriller movie. Call your congressperson today and tell them to pressure the DVD industry to release the Turbulence Trilogy as a box set today! You won't be sorry. 9 out of 10 for the movie. 20 out of 10 for babes.

I love watching airplane movies, but this film put me off! You wouldn't believe it, a rock concert is held on a jumbo-jet! When Slade Craven, a rock singer holds his fair-well concert on a jumbo jet, live on the internet its not long before FBI agent Kate gets on the task of finding out that Slade Craven is a hijacker, and is planning to crash the plane, without anyone knowning on the plane. Why would you hold a rock concern on an airplane anyway? Some scenes during the film you can obviously tell that its being filmed in a studio, the plane width is huge, and I'm sure its a danger hazard having everyone jumping around to music while the plane is flying. Its not worth watching because its plan boring and stupid. Watch the first and second film, the 3rd is enough.

This must be one of the worst movies ever made . I wonder why any producer agreed to pay for this crap. The story of the movie is almost more lame then the movie itself , and the actors in it suck. Even Rutger Hauer blows his own head off , propably because this is a little too much "B-movie" even for his liking . Anyway , the story goes like this : Death metal artist has a gig in a boeing 747 (he actually plays some strange 'non-death metal marilyn manson-wannabe songs in it , and ooooh how it sucks.Then the artist gets clubbed by "devil worshippers" ,and since he is maked up with white paint like the members of the good band KISS used to be ,his fans cannot see it's a terrorist devil worshipping man who appear in front of them instead of their idol Slade Craven , and the plot thickens ....God damn this was lame , they even show it on pay per wiev TV in sweden , so i hope some of you swedes see this before you pay for this crap . Grab a pizza or something instead!!!.

A dumb direct to video movie about a shock rock concert on a plane taken over by satanists who want to bring about the end of the world and open the gate to hell. Its really a good film thats completely mindless, but a lot of fun. Hey the actors, Joe Mantegna, Rutger Hauer and others got paid and we get to smile knowingly. I think the key to enjoying the film is just giving yourself over to it and accepting it as the mindless, "I can't believe people are actually dumb enough to make a movie like this" sort of way. It is dumb but if you go with it you may have a good time. To be certain this film probably should not have been released in 2001, but it appearance was purely a coincidence.

The people that made this movie must have forgotten what point they were trying to make. We see a FBI agent that starts out arresting a hacker as he is breaking into some sort of video network. The FBI agent played by Gabrielle Anwar who has the looks of Bambi meets secretary from anonymous fashion show (may her acting career rest in peace after this) arrives at the scene completely alone and doesn't report anything to her HQ when she has done the arrest. Oh gee. Thats just how they do in real life?? NOT. Not much later they cooperate trying to solve an unraveling murder case. Still in the hackers flat and still without informing anyone - until she talks to her superior by accident. And guess what - he has also started working on the same case. What a coincidence! The movie goes on and on with the same completely unbelievable and inconsistent plot. Everything is out of place and phony down to every little detail. The executive producer should have paid more attention from the very start and terminated the production, since this is one of the movies that should never have been made.

I have to admit that I only caught the last half of this movie on cable, but I liked what I saw. John Mann is a capable stand-in (at least visually) for the Alice Cooper-wannabe set, plus (with the aid of stand-ins, no doubt) he gets to kick the bejeezus out of his "evil twin" terrorist enemy and save the day. Say what you will about the "evil influence" of rock 'n' roll music-- this time the rock star is a good guy, and John Mann does the role proud.
